On March 23, 2020, the Governor of Michigan issued a Temporary Executive Order, Executive Order 2020-21 (COVID-19). This requires Michigan businesses to assess if they are an “Essential Business” and to identify “Critical Infrastructure Workers” as defined by this order.
Magnum Induction is considered an “Essential Business”.
This classification is supported by:
- The Metal Treating Institute (MTI), who has issued a letter notifying its members that the heat treating industry is considered a part of our Nation’s Critical Supply Chain as defined by the Department of Homeland Security in the Critical Manufacturing Sector and therefore are essential to manufacturing and need to remain open to service the work on important, life sustaining components during any state shut down.
- Multiple Magnum Induction customers have notified us they are an “Essential
Business” and that we are a considered a “Critical Supplier” to their business.
Therefore, in accordance with the Executive Order, Magnum Induction will maintain business operations to support our customers.
